IEEE CCNC 2012 - Call for Panel Proposals

IEEE Consumer Communications and Networking Conference 2012 - the 9th annual international conference - brings together researchers, developers, and practitioners from academia and industry working in all areas of consumer communications and networking.  IEEE CCNC 2012, sponsored by IEEE Communications Society, will present the latest developments and technical solutions in the areas of home networking, consumer networking, enabling technologies, and novel applications and services. Scope
You are cordially invited to submit panel proposals for IEEE CCNC 2012. Topics related to consumer communications and networking are solicited:

  • Wired and Wireless Communications for Consumer Electronics
  • Machine-to-Machine Communications
  • Smart Metering and Smart Grid
  • Sensor Networks for Consumer Communications
  • Smart Phone Platform and Applications
  • 4G Networking and Beyond
  • Automotive Networking and Applications
  • Entertainment & Multimedia Networking
  • Next Generation IPTV
  • Social Media, UGC and Personal Broadcasting
  • Multiplayer Online Games
  • Delivery of HD, Scalable and 3D+ Media
  • Privacy and Security for Consumer Communications
  • Emerging Applications & Enabling Technologies for Consumer Communications
  • Standardization and Regulation Issues related to Consumer Communications

Each panel consists of a Panel Session Chair who moderates and controls the successful running of the panel, and 3-5 Panelists. Panelist should be well-established scientists/researchers in their specific field. To appreciate industry Panelist that normally will not participate in CCNC 2012 to join the panel discussion, a one-day free registration for the day of the panel will be provided for the Panelist. The Panelist is expected to secure other travel funding on his/her own.

Submission
The panel proposal should contain the following information: 1) Title of the proposed panel, 2) Description of the proposed panel (about 200 words), 3) Bio of the panel session chair, and 4) Bio of each panelist.

Submission Deadline: October 15, 2011
