IEEE Consumer Communications & Networking Conference

3D Contents Communication and Networks

Description
Nowadays, mostly based on stereoscopic 3D technologies, many of consumer displays are expanding to support 3D contents. In spite of the sharp increase of consumers' interests on 3D systems and efforts to provide more comfortable 3D scenes, there still exists a vast room for research to generate and exchange highly realistic and natural 3D contents.

The special session aims to provide an opportunity to share the cutting edge technologies for 3d contents communication and networks, and to discuss ways for pioneering new the era of 3D innovation beyond the current stereoscopic environments.

List of Topics

- 3D Communication and Network Systems
- Design 3D Contents Acquisition and Generation Techniques
- 3D Contents Compression
- 3D Contents Security and Digital Right Management
- Visual Perception and Quality assessment
- Standardization for 3D Communication and Networking.

Submission Instructions
Authors are invited to submit regular technical papers or position papers. The position papers should present novel technologies at an early stage of development or share future vision. All submissions should describe original, previously unpublished research, not currently under review by another conference or journal. Manuscripts should not exceed five (5) pages in double-column IEEE format. Please submit the paper through EDAS. Formatting details can be found under Author Information on the CCNC web site.
