IEEE CCNC 2012 Student Travel Grant
Call for Applications
We are very pleased to let you know that IEEE CCNC 2012 provides Student Travel Grant funds to broaden the participation of student authors. This fund is sponsored by IEEE ComSoc for students worldwide to attend IEEE CCNC 2012 in Las Vegas, NV.
As we have very limited time to process applications and to make decisions on the student travel grant awards, please read this email carefully and take the appropriate actions in time, and the application deadline is final with no extension at all.
Starting October 5, IEEE CCNC 2012 accepts applications for student travel grant (STG).
Eligibility of STG Award:
a) The applicant student must be a co-author of an accepted paper in IEEE CCNC 2012.
b) The applicant student must be full-time students registered toward a Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. degree in computer science, engineering or related field in a college or university when submitting their applications, and must not receive funding for attending the conference from other sources.
c) During the expense reimbursement stage, the student must show the proof of having registered to attend the IEEE CCNC 2012 conference.
IEEE CCNC 2012 features student travel grant awards in the range of $500.00 -$1000.00 (A portion of the fund is only applicable to US-university based students, others are applicable to worldwide students). A student who is awarded a student travel grant must attend the conference in person. The student must register, attend, and present the paper (if the student is a co-author) at the conference. Payment will only be made to the student as long as the award recipient submits the expense report (with receipts) within 45 days after the conference. More details will be provided to the students who are selected to receive the STG award.
